Novi is the full package for visitors, corporate and residents. Located near the highway, Novi is easily accessible for travelers coming from Detroit Metropolitan Airport or from other Metro Detroit areas. Established as a city in 1969, formally the Village of Novi holds some historic value as well. Grand River Avenue approximates the route followed by one of the state’s oldest roads, essentially going from Detroit to Lake Michigan. The road was originally an old Native American trail and building started in 1837. This was one of the first great examples of the evolution of land transportation in Michigan. Today, Novi is still one of the leading cities in Metro Detroit and has much to offer their visitors.
